The American Culinary Federation (ACF) has represented cooks, bakers and culinary professionals in the United States since 1929. The ACF has a long tradition of ensuring quality education for the culinary arts and foodservice professions.
NOCTI serves as the assessment provider for the ACF Certification Assessments that are available to all ACF-certified schools. Participants passing the assessments are eligible for certification through ACF. The certification exams that are currently offered are listed below. The assessment can be administered either paper/pencil or online through QuadNet, NOCTI’s online assessment system
Pre- and post-testing options available
Test administration time is 3 hours and can be administered in one, two, or three sessions

Customized Study Guides
Study guides are available for each of the ACF Certification Assessments. Study Guides are intended to serve as a road map for test preparation and can be used individually or in small groups. The American Culinary Federation (ACF) offers a certification for graduates of the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation (ACFEF) Secondary Certified programs. Students are able to obtain a certification if they meet the requirements listed on the ACF Certification Brochure.
Those passing an ACF assessment by meeting the qualifying scores are eligible to apply for their certification through the ACF. The assessment results are to be returned with the Award Request Form directly to ACF.
