online systems publications contact noctiSafety is a critical factor of every job. Often, students learn about safety only after an accident has occurred. Safety is also a key ingredient of career and technical education. As a strong proponent of career and technical education, the National Occupational Competency Testing Institute (NOCTI) has become a partner in the youth safety initiative known as CareerSafe®. CareerSafe® is an OSHA 10-hour online safety training program consisting of 10 interactive modules covering the most common safety concerns in the workplace.
The CareerSafe® Program is delivered in an interactive online environment that is appealing to young adults. The course can easily be implemented into the student ® technical training program with very little instructor effort. Once the program vouchers are purchased ($12.00 per student), the student has one full year to complete the program. Upon completion of the CareerSafe® program, the student will receive a wallet card from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to verify that the student has the fundamental safety knowledge needed in the workplace.
