NOCTI is pleased to work with Michigan’s Office of Career and Technical Education (OCTE) on the adoption of NOCTI’s Accounting – Advanced assessment. Beginning in the 2008-2009 school year, this assessment is to be administered to all secondary CTE concentrators upon leaving or completing a Finance and Financial Management Services program (CIP Code 52.0800).
Accounting – Advanced Assessment Blueprint
Becoming a NOCTI Customer
If your school is not a current NOCTI customer, please complete a testing agreement (see link below) and return it to NOCTI to obtain a site code (customer ID). Upon receipt of your completed testing agreement, you will receive a welcome email from NOCTI with your account details. If your school is a current customer, it is only necessary to complete a testing agreement if account information has changed, such as coordinator, school address, phone number, etc.
Ordering Assessments
Accounting – Advanced Assessments
Schools will work with their CEPD administrator when processing orders. A list of CEPD administrators is available on LearnPort under “CTE Assessments”. Each region has a customized order form to be completed by schools administering the Accounting – Advanced written assessment for approved programs. When ordering, complete the form and submit it to NOCTI for processing (orders@nocti.org). All order forms require a purchase order number and a program serial number. When orders have been process, an email notification will be sent to the Site Coordinator indicating that the user codes are available for pick-up at the Client Services Center.
All Other NOCTI Assessments and Study Guides
If your school is currently using other NOCTI assessments, you will continue to utilize NOCTI’s standard online order form which is available through the Client Services Center. This form should be used to order assessments and related study guides.
Resources
NOCTI provides a variety of resource materials to assist you in establishing a successful assessment program. It is especially important that you review the Coordinator Guide, Proctor Guide and Security Policy. A complete listing of the available resources can be found at your Client Services Center by clicking on the Resources tab.
You may also contact OCTE at 517-241-4354 with questions specific to the Accounting-Advanced testing program or if you need assistance with locating your CEPD administrator.
