ACF Certification Assessments
The American Culinary Federation (ACF) has represented cooks, bakers and culinary professionals in the United States since 1929. The ACF has a long tradition of ensuring quality education for the culinary arts and foodservice professions.
NOCTI serves as the assessment provider for the ACF Certification Assessments. The certification assessments that are currently offered are listed below. Assessment blueprints are available by clicking the test title.
NEW: ACF Certification Assessments Now Available to ALL Testing Locations!
- The assessment can be administered either paper/pencil or online through QuadNet, NOCTI’s online assessment system
- Pre- and post-testing options are available
- Test administration time is 3 hours and can be administered in one, two, or three sessions
- Tests are available in Text-to-Speech format
Customized Study Guides
Study guides are available for each of the ACF Certification Assessments. Study guides are intended to serve as a road map for test preparation and can be used individually or in small groups. Sample questions provide an opportunity for students and teachers to experience the type of questions found on the assessments.
Participants are eligible to apply for certification through ACF by meeting the requirements listed on the ACF Certification Brochure. The assessment results are to be returned with the Award Request Form directly to ACF.
College Credit Recommendation and Digital Badge
The National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS) has evaluated the ACF Certification Assessments listed above to translate the content into college credit equivalencies. Students must meet a 70% benchmark on the written assessment to be eligible. A College Credit Recommendation Report will be posted to the Client Services Center for each eligible student at no additional cost.
