Credential Preparation

NOCTI provides resources to assist in preparing to earn a credential. From in-depth Study Guides to classroom posters, we’re here to ensure the credentialing journey is successful. Resources are available to order by the school’s coordinator in our Client Services Center.

Study Guides are an invaluable tool when preparing for a credentialing assessment. The digital format makes them accessible from anywhere and with any device. Students are provided access to an overview of the credential content, a breakdown of the skills-based component, study checklists, sample questions, and additional resources to help in preparation. Teachers have access to a Teacher Companion Guide to assist students as they prepare for administration.

A pre-test is administered to determine a student’s baseline technical knowledge at the start of a program or course. Using a pre/post test combination will result in a comparison report after the post-test is completed. This powerful tool can be used to show individual student improvement and overall program effectiveness.

This valuable classroom tool is designed to be a standalone resource or as a complement to NOCTI’s Study Guides. Each kit includes a teacher guide, one credential-specific poster, and six supplemental posters. Teachers may focus on poster topics throughout the school year to assist students with credentialing assessment preparation.

Make a statement in your school or testing center with a NOCTI banner. Our 4’ x 8’ vinyl banners include grommets for hanging indoors or outdoors. Use banners to showcase your involvement with NOCTI’s credentials and encourage questions from other students and parents about your school’s CTE program.

Poster Kits are an excellent way to prepare students for NOCTI credentialing. Posters are available in two sizes and may be ordered in a single pack (5 or 10 posters) or a variety pack. Use posters to initiate conversation with students on test readiness and give them confidence in their abilities and preparedness.
