NOCTI and its partners provide opportunities for students to earn credentials and digital badges as a verification of their achievements. These validated and industry-defined credentials are valuable tools as students enter the workforce and/or continue their education. Blueprints are available for all partner credential tests that include the standards and competencies, sample questions, passing scores, administration information, and program specifics.

American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC)

America Makes

NOCTI and America Makes have collaborated to provide a credentialing assessment in Additive Manufacturing Essentials. America Makes is the nation’s leading public-private partnership for additive manufacturing technology and education.  Open to secondary and postsecondary students, the credential was developed to address the need for a highly agile, mobile additive workforce.  Students meeting the established cut score can earn certification in this exciting, growing technical field!

American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC)

The American Boat and Yacht Council has collaborated with NOCTI to be the development and delivery partner for their entry-level Marine Service Technician certification assessment. This certification expands on ABYC’s long-established commitment to providing technical education, training, certification, and professional development. The assessment measures technical skills at the occupational-training level needed for successful employment and career growth within the marine service sector.

American Culinary Federation (ACF)

American Culinary Federation (ACF)

NOCTI and the American Culinary Federation (ACF) work together to provide comprehensive solutions to secondary and postsecondary individuals looking to begin a career in the field of culinary arts. The collaboration between ACF and NOCTI focuses on co-branding NOCTI’s Culinary Arts Cook and Retail Commercial Baking Job Ready assessments to further expand certification opportunities for culinary students across the country. Learners have the opportunity to earn the Workforce Competency Credential and college credit recommendations through NOCTI and to apply for certification through ACF by meeting the ACF requirements listed on their website.

American Culinary Federation (ACF)

AMTEC

AMTEC, the Advanced Manufacturing Technical Education Collaborative develops standards, curriculum, and assessments to meet the training needs of Advanced Manufacturing. Responding to the needs of secondary and post-secondary CTE programs across the nation about a need for an industry-recognized credential geared towards entry-level technicians, AMTEC partnered with NOCTI to develop two new credentials for education: Emerging Technician – Electrical and Emerging Technician – Maintenance Mechanic. Successful completers earn certification and digital badge from AMTEC.

American Culinary Federation (ACF)

Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education (CASE)

CASE is an initiative of The National Council of Agricultural Education. The end-of-course (EoC) assessments were developed by CASE to align with CASE concepts and National Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resource (AFNR) Common Career Technical Core Standards.  The assessments are available through NOCTI which serves as the CASE partner for third-party delivery.  EoC assessments serve as a measurement of student success and meet Perkins V requirements.

Electronics Technicians Association®, International (ETA® International)

Electronics Technicians Association®, International (ETA® International)

The Electronics Technicians Association®, International (ETA® International) has collaborated with NOCTI to offer ETA’s Student Electronics Technician (SET) Certification assessment. SET Certification consists of both a knowledge-based online assessment and a skill-based performance test offering learners the ability to earn recognition for each component. The program provides high school students and entry-level technicians the opportunity to earn a basic beginner’s certification and creates an opportunity to continue on a career pathway within the high-demand electronics industry.

FANUC America Corporation

FANUC America Corporation

NOCTI and FANUC America Corporation are collaborating to promote certification for learners and instructors in authorized-FANUC secondary and postsecondary testing sites. The credentialing assessments were developed by NOCTI and are based on FANUC’s industry-recognized CERT Program. Certification is an indicator that learners have a basic understanding of robot operations and programming, material handling and its components, and introduction to Roboguide simulation software. The FANUC certification programs are focused on the core Robot Operator skills needed by entry level or incumbent workers.

Home Builders Institute (HBI)

Home Builders Institute (HBI)

Through pre-apprenticeship training, certification programs and job placement services, HBI provides graduates with the skills and experience they need to build a career and change their lives. HBI assessments, in partnership with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), are delivered through NOCTI. Participants passing the assessments are eligible for certification through HBI/NAHB at the entry, semi-skilled, or skilled levels.

The International Sign Association (ISA)

Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp (JROTC)

NOCTI and the JROTC have collaborated to offer a Leadership and Employability Skills credential that directly reflects employability skills demonstrated by cadets. JROTC Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) involved with the project assisted in assuring the credential aligns with the core JROTC tenants instilled across all branches of the military. Only affiliated JROTC programs are eligible to offer this opportunity to their cadets as they complete their program.

Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC)

Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC)

The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) partners with NOCTI for development and delivery of its Certified Production Technician and Certified Logistics Associate/Certified Logistics Technician Certification programs. As the leading certifying body for the nation’s front-line manufacturing production and supply chain logistics workers, MSSC’s certification programs allow students and workers to document their knowledge. The opportunity to earn certification is available for learners at authorized-MSSC assessment centers.

MBA Research/ASK Institute

MBA Research/ASK Institute

The MBA Research and Curriculum Center selected NOCTI as a delivery partner for offering the A*S*K Business Institute certification exams and the MBA Research program-of-study exams. NOCTI issues certificates on behalf of the A*S*K Business Institute to individuals who have achieved the established certification benchmark score. This industry-based certificate program is based on extensive research of industry practice and formal validation by business practitioners. Together with NOCTI, MBA Research and A*S*K Institute are committed to preparing learners for success in their future business-related careers.

National Academy Foundation (NAF)

National Academy Foundation (NAF)

The National Academy Foundation (NAF) selected NOCTI as their partner to develop a customized, web-based system for managing all aspects of the NAFTrack Certification program. NAFTrack Certification demonstrates that a student has achieved the highest levels of college and career readiness through their NAF Academy. The custom-developed system consists of an online testing module, permissions-based modules for administrators, instructors, and students, and an Internship Module used for tracking student internship progress towards certification. The system allows for uploading of student projects with integrated grading tools for instructors, automatic scoring of multiple-choice and constructed-response items, tracking and scoring for the internships, and overall student roster and class schedule maintenance.

National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)

National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and NOCTI partner to promote and advance occupational safety and health practices among young workers. The collaboration includes the development and delivery of the Youth@Work-Talking Safety assessment that measures a student’s acquisition of the foundational workplace safety and health skills taught through the NIOSH curriculum. Learners successfully passing the Talking Safety assessment will earn digital badge recognition from NIOSH through NOCTI’s SkillBadge™ system.

Northeast Equipment Dealers Association (NEDA)

Northeast Equipment Dealers Association (NEDA)

NOCTI and Northeast Equipment Dealers Association (NEDA) are working collaboratively in promoting and distributing apprenticeship assessments in four levels to measure the skills critical for servicing agriculture and construction equipment. Education programs can incorporate this assessment to measure learner knowledge and skills required to be a successful service technician. Those achieving the benchmark will earn recognition in the form of a digital badge issued by NOCTI on behalf of NEDA.

Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (PHCC)

The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) apprentice and journeyman training programs are designed to help students learn both the theoretical and practical applications of a highly skilled trade while helping plumbing and HVACR contractors develop a well-educated workforce. PHCC collaborated with NOCTI to offer four certification opportunities related to the Plumbing industry.

Southern Regional Education Board (SREB)

Southern Regional Education Board (SREB)

NOCTI and the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) have collaborated to deliver the Advanced Career End-of-Course Exams to eligible schools. SREB created the Advanced Career initiative to deepen learning in career and technical education and boost students’ success after high school. SREB offers curricula in ten advanced career pathways that include real-world learning to prepare students for further study and rewarding STEM careers.

Southern Regional Education Board (SREB)

Stratasys

Stratasys, a company with over three decades of experience in driving change in 3D printing technologies, partnered with NOCTI for development of its FDM Certification to assist in ensuring knowledge and skills in technologies, applications, materials, operations, software, design, and post processing.  The certification is available to verified Stratasys sites offering secondary and postsecondary programs as well as industry professionals seeking certification.

Virtual Enterprises (VEI)

Virtual Enterprises (VEI)

NOCTI serves as the development and delivery partner for the Virtual Enterprises International (VEI) assessment program. Open to all students, VEI empowers and motivates participants to develop a range of academic, business, technology, and professional skills that prepare them for success in postsecondary education, employment, and the community. Verification of these skills can be demonstrated through a credentialing assessment, with successful completion resulting in a VEI certificate to recognize successful achievement.
