NOCTI credentials are widely used in career and technical education (CTE) across the state, with most being approved for Georgia technical skill attainment as part of end-of-pathway testing. The longstanding relationship between NOCTI and the Georgia Department of Education, Division of Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) also includes customized test development, state year-end reporting, and issuing the Georgia Skills Certificate to qualifying CTE learners.
Customized Assessments & Study Guides
NOCTI has developed customized tests for use with Georgia’s technical skill attainment testing. Development includes supplemental study guides for each customized assessment.
Learners have the opportunity to earn the Workforce Competency Credential and college credit recommendations through NOCTI. The Georgia Department of Education also awards a Certificate of Achievement for meeting the NOCTI cut score. This certificate is issued by NOCTI on behalf of CTAE for qualifying CTE learners.
