Missouri
Missouri’s commitment to workforce development includes a strong focus on verified skills that lead to real career opportunities. The state’s Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) has approved more than 50 NOCTI and NOCTI Partner Certifications as part of its list of Industry-Recognized Credentials (IRCs), Stackable Credentials, and Technical Skill Attainment (TSA) Assessments—supporting high-quality career and technical education programs statewide.
To further support career readiness, NOCTI worked with DESE to develop five Missouri-specific Technical Skill Assessments (TSAs) to measure student proficiency across key CTE pathways. These assessments help ensure that graduates are equipped with the relevant skills required to thrive in Missouri’s evolving workforce.
